Today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders. They carry the ideas, energy, and vision to shape a better world. But without the right guidance, opportunities, and support, their potential can go untapped. That’s why my work with JCI (Junior Chamber International) holds such a special place in my heart. It’s more than just an organization—it’s a global platform to inspire, empower, and develop the leaders of tomorrow.
Through my involvement with JCI, I have had the privilege to mentor young minds, share my journey, and help build a culture of responsible, impactful leadership.
Why Youth Empowerment Matters
In Bangladesh and around the world, we are seeing a new generation rise—full of ambition, curiosity, and digital awareness. However, many young people lack access to the practical knowledge and networks they need to succeed in their careers or in making a difference in their communities.
I believe that every young person deserves a chance to discover their strengths, believe in themselves, and lead with purpose. That’s the foundation of my commitment to youth development.
What is JCI?
Junior Chamber International is a global nonprofit organization that empowers young people between the ages of 18 and 40 to create positive change. With chapters in more than 100 countries, JCI offers leadership training, social impact projects, international networking, and civic engagement opportunities.

My collaboration with JCI has allowed me to contribute both locally and internationally—sharing business insights, participating in panel discussions, and supporting youth-led initiatives.
Guiding Through Experience
Having built multiple businesses and held leadership positions in various sectors, I bring practical experience to the table—something that today’s youth are hungry for. With JCI, I’ve mentored young entrepreneurs, advised student leaders, and hosted leadership workshops that focus on:
• Business ethics and social responsibility
• Decision-making in crisis
• Public speaking and communication skills
• Project management and goal setting
• Mental health and work-life balance
These sessions often lead to deep, personal conversations—because youth today don’t just want success, they want meaning. And it’s our job to help them find both.
Creating Real Impact
One of the proudest moments in my journey with JCI was supporting a youth-led community project that distributed school supplies and hygiene kits in underprivileged areas. I didn’t just sponsor the event—I worked alongside them, planning, organizing, and learning. Because leadership is not about giving instructions; it’s about standing beside those you want to inspire.
JCI also fosters international friendships. I’ve attended global forums where young leaders from Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas come together to exchange ideas and build a better future. These interactions have not only broadened my own worldview but have also allowed me to bring back global perspectives to local challenges.
A Message to the Youth
To every young person reading this: your ideas matter, your voice matters, and your time is now. Don’t wait to be chosen—choose yourself. Step forward, ask questions, take risks, and never stop learning. And if you ever feel lost, remember—there are leaders like us who are ready to walk with you.
Looking Ahead
As I continue my work with JCI, my goal is to build more structured mentorship programs, connect youth with industry experts, and help develop future leaders who are ethical, empathetic, and empowered.
Because the future is not something we enter—it’s something we create.
